We are looking for a Senior Medical Affairs Manager for Pulmonology.As a Medical Manager the main purpose of your role will be to build partnerships with external healthcare professionals, to communicate evidence based critical scientific, technical and development issues relating to Grifols biopharma products.

What your main responsibilities will be

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute with guidance medical affairs plans in alignment with the business objectives in DACH countries..
  • Build and maintain relationships with scientific thought leaders in DACH countries.
  • Managescientific events like advisory boards, symposia or standalone meetings.
  • Manageinitiatives and requests related to Grifols research programs such as ISRs, awards, grants and Ph IV studies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, writing summaries when needed.
  • Collectand analyzefrom a strategic point of view competitor medical/scientific information from different sources/departments and communicateto the appropriate internal functions and departments.
  • Attendnational and international medical conferences on the respective disease areas and providereports from these meetings to internal stakeholders.
  • Providemedical content for medical education programs for clinicians externally and for internal costumers through training department.
  • Contributeto scientific publications generated from Grifols projects or studies (including abstract writing or revision of manuscripts).
  • Provide scientific responses to enquiries by internal and external customers and supportMedical Information department on the elaboration of SRL.
  • Collaboratewith cross functional teams within the SIO and Commercial Department, participating in different working groups as needed.
  • Providemedical input in the development of value dossiers or other materials requested for reimbursement/market access support.
  • Ensurethe accuracy of the medical content of marketing materials, being the medical function in the sign off process of promotional materials.
  • Attendperiodic team meetings on TA updates and strategy alignment.
  • Manage budget and ensure compliance with Grifols processes and regulations.

Who you are

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • You have a University Degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Medicine. PhD, MD or PharmD with advanced knowledge in the respective scientific field is preferred.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the pharma industry.
  • You have knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical basics with highest ethical standards.
  • You have a scientific understanding (literature, clinical and basic research .
  • You have advanced communication and relation building skills.
  • You have willingness to travel.
