Senior Mechatronics Integration Engineer (f/m/d)
Start date: as soon as possible
Yearly Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 (fixed range, annual gross)
Equity: €20,000 - €40,000 in company shares
Benefits: Up to €5,000 annually
Work model: Full-time, hybrid (based in Munich)
Your responsibilities
You — literally — build our products. You define requirements specs, drawings and test scenarios for our product components. You work closely with suppliers and software teams to evaluate prototypes and define the final product components.
As a member of our System Engineering and Integration team, you enable compliant and reliable AI-powered MRI solutions. By applying diligence and strong problem-solving skills, you unlock the next stage of our products by:
- Defining technical requirements for system components
- Collaborating closely with our suppliers and internal teams on the best solutions
- Testing early-stage prototypes and final solutions according to the requirements
- Driving the documentation in alignment with international standards
Your experiences and skills
- Mechatronics: hands-on experience with industrial automation systems
- CAD design for polymers and metal components (preferably with Autodesk Fusion) and ability to apply DFM principles
- Ability to bridge the gap between mechanical, software and electronics engineering
- Ability to define requirements and engineering test protocols
Automation
- Solid experience with electrical components (PLCs, servos, sensors, power supplies, etc.) for industrial control panels
- Design and develop complete electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using tools like EPLAN Electric
- Expertise in fieldbus communication protocols (Profinet, EtherCAT)

- Experience building prototypes and elevating concepts to pilots and products
- Ability to act as a technical point of contact for suppliers, evaluate capabilities, negotiate specifications, and resolve production issues
- Experience guiding and training junior engineers
- Experience with medical imaging technologies and understanding product requirements
- Understanding of the full product lifecycle from design to installation
