Your responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and manage market risks in Uniper's portfolios, focusing on Gas, LNG, and New Commodities
• Engage directly with traders and management to discuss and challenge new transactions, investments, and strategies
• Participate in approving complex transactions, perform deal analysis, assess risks, and prepare decision briefs for senior management approval or veto
• Analyze trade data to derive actionable insights, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and develop supporting tools
• Promote holistic risk awareness and risk management practices across the business
• Assist in calibrating pricing models and collaborate with the quantitative team to address model deficiencies
• Understand end-to-end processes and foster effective collaboration across organizational levels

Your profile

• Background in risk management, preferably within energy markets
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to interact independently and effectively within an international, multicultural team
• Commercial mindset with attention to accuracy and detail
• Strong analytical, communication, and explanatory skills; ability to synthesize large data sets
• Fluency in English
