Your main tasks:

• Acting as Fresenius Kabi Subject Matter Expert on sustainable packaging
• Development of sustainable packaging concepts for Fresenius Kabi in close cooperation with Fresenius Kabi BUs and MUs
• Project management and coordination for sustainable packaging initiatives with Fresenius Kabi, including workshops, physical and chemical test series, studies, etc.
• Coordinating internal and external expertise in close cooperation with academia and industry experts on sustainable packaging, including potential research projects
• Assessment of applicable packaging regulations / laws and coordination of implementation actions
• You will also support the further development of internal sustainability standards and guidelines
• Your key to success: close cooperation with various functions and departments in Fresenius Kabi and Fresenius Group, especially with our operating Business Units and R&D / Technology functions

Your profile:

• Completed (Master's) degree in engineering with focus on material / polymer science, ideally with a focus on sustainability
• At least 10 years of professional experience in an pharmaceutical company with strong focus on packaging materials and respective regulatory affairs, product component development and proven experiences in related sustainability/ESG regulations and environmental impact assessment (related to packaging materials)
• Experience in project management in the sustainability environment and with the development of sustainability business cases
• Good German and business fluent English skills
• Sound IT skills (MS Office, research
