Senior Manager Security Audit & Risk Management (all genders welcome) at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt / Main, Germany.
Job mission :
Under the direction of Information Security Management, the Security Manager for Information Security will report to the Information Security Head and be a key member of the Information Security Team.
This role will coordinate cybersecurity reviews of the company, either directly or through IT service providers. This includes conducting security risk assessments, identifying threats and vulnerabilities, and presenting recommendations to the company, subsidiaries, affiliate companies, and vendors. The position also ensures compliance with local and global information security policies and responds to audit requests from internal and external auditors.
Your responsibilities :
Coordinates security trainings & audits for organizations under Kia EU's jurisdiction, including the headquarters, subsidiaries, affiliates, and vendors. (50%)
Works closely with Privacy attorneys to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, supporting data privacy activities. (30%)
Provides security consulting to stakeholders such as Legal, DPO, and P&O. (10%)
Prepares and responds to security audits, including Kia HQ's annual assessment, working with business units and IT providers to gather evidence. (10%)
Coordinates rapid incident response and investigations involving relevant teams.
Compliance Security responsibilities include :
Establishing security training & audits for Kia EU organizations.
Supporting privacy compliance activities like data lineage management and leakage prevention.
Consulting with internal units on data privacy.
Coordinating security audits, including Kia HQ's.
IT Security responsibilities include :
Conducting security awareness activities such as newsletters and training.
Responding to security threats like phishing attacks.
Performing risk analysis of IT systems.
Your talents :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information security.
Advanced degrees or certifications in cybersecurity are a plus.
At least 5 years of experience with mature security processes.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a security auditor.
Knowledge of privacy regulations and compliance.
Familiarity with security auditing processes and evidence collection.
Experience with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, or other ISMS controls.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to lead multiple solutions.
Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to evaluate systems and improve processes.
Experience overseeing external vendors and ensuring high standards.
Ability to assess requests and provide recommendations to management.
Independent work ethic with reliable execution.
Effective team collaboration skills.
