The Senior Manager Project Management Office (m/f/d) is a strategic role at the heart of our global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. In this position, you will own critical governance pillars, directly supporting the Program Leadership and Program Management Committee (PMC). As a trusted thought leader, you will be responsible for establishing portfolio-level control structures and driving program-wide performance, alignment, and transparency across all business and IT stakeholders. Define and evolve the Project Management Office’s strategic vision, including methodologies, governance frameworks, and operational cadence.
Ensure consistent application of program governance, reporting standards, and structured decision-making across workstreams.
Drive executive reporting and sponsor engagement, preparing leadership for key meetings, reviews, and Steering Committees.
Lead the Change Request Control Board process and oversee complex, cross-workstream change management.
Manage the integrated program plan, identifying critical path activities and coordinating interdependencies.
Serve as a senior escalation point for delivery risks, strategic misalignment, and performance challenges.
Oversee partner performance, vendor governance, and effective resource allocation across the global program.
Enable leadership with real-time data, insights, and dashboards to drive proactive, informed decision-making.
Master’s degree in Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in a multinational enterprise or a strategy consulting environment.
Deep program or project management expertise in large-scale ERP projects (SAP preferred), ideally within complex global structures.
Proven ability to work at the executive level — facilitating alignment, influencing outcomes, and driving decisions.
Expertise in governance design, performance tracking, and delivery assurance frameworks.
A strong business partnering mindset, able to both challenge and support global stakeholders effectively.
Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (e. g. PMI, Prince2, Agile) and tools (e. g. Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in business fluent English (German is a plus), with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
Industry experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Consumer Goods is highly desirable.
