What you can expect

As a Senior Manager in the Global Portfolio Management Team, you will evaluate new opportunities in the generics and specialty generics segment, lead cross-functional and cross-geographical projects, and develop a robust pipeline.

• Identify and drive product opportunities globally, leading stakeholder evaluations
• Prepare and present business cases for new product developments to top management
• Analyze indications, trends, challenges, opportunities, and unmet medical needs
• Serve as the key contact for allocated products, including trend and gap analysis
• Evaluate opportunities for in-licensing, co-development, and own development projects
• Support affiliates from product idea to launch
• Build strong relationships with corporate departments
• Conduct strategic risk assessments and prioritize pipeline products
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Gather and analyze market intelligence
• Drive innovation initiatives
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track portfolio success

Who are we looking for

• Degree in life sciences, preferably as a medical doctor or pharmacist
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product or portfolio management within the pharmaceutical industry; experience in lifecycle and innovation management is a plus
• Deep understanding of the generic industry, including market trends and key players
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical market mechanisms in Europe, and ideally in MENA, APAC, and Eurasia
• Proven experience in evaluating and launching generics and specialty generics
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
• Excellent intercultural communication, networking, leadership, and teamwork skills
