Job summary
World Wide Technology seeks a Senior Manager, PMO to lead regional PMO activities, drive financial forecasting, and optimize program delivery across diverse teams. You will manage personnel, forecast staffing needs, and enforce PMO governance while advancing methodologies and KPI-driven performance.
The role requires extensive PMO leadership experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic/international).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
- 10+ years managing Managers and Senior PMs in professional services or managed services.
- 10+ years project management experience.
- 5+ years PMO management experience.
- Strong leadership to develop talent and engage teams.
- Ability to build cross-functional trusted relationships.
- Promote inclusion of diverse knowledge and skills.
- Strong understanding of financial processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and change management skills.
- Able to forecast trends and manage change.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication.
- PMI PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to work with limited direction and take calculated risks.
- Up to 25% travel (domestic/international).

- Own financials and cost control (P&L), with accurate forecasting.
- Manage and develop PMO staff; lead a high-performing team.
- Recruit, interview, and forecast staffing needs across regions.
- Optimize team utilization and cross-regional collaboration.
- Resolve escalated issues and mitigate risks proactively.
- Improve PMO methodologies and deployment processes.
- Uphold PMO best practices and governance.
- Participate in PMO initiatives and corporate programs.
- Communicate and drive adoption of PMO and corporate goals.
- Set and track KPIs; ensure alignment with business excellence.
- Maintain correct cost center allocation.

- Bachelor's Degree Related Field required
- A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience managing Managers and Senior Project Managers in a professional services and/or a managed service environment
- 10+ years project management experience
- 5+ years PMO management experience
- Strong leadership capability able to develop talent and capabilities, identifies and cultivates essential skills and attributes to maximize individual contribution and engagement
- Able to build collaborative relationships across functions based on trust and respect
- Promote the inclusion of diverse knowledge, skills, and experiences to achieve results
- Excellent understanding of financial processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think innovatively and implement change
- Able to forecast future trends and manage change
- Ability to think innovatively and have strong issue resolution skills
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
- Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria in obtaining results. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Takes calculated risks with consultation from the expert.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $140,800 - $176,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

The Senior Manager, PMO is a leader who functions as a regional representative for the Project Management Organization and works with Regional Managers, Sales, and Operations to build strong working relationships which lead to successful project and program execution. - Ownership of financial & cost control aspects (P&L) and ability to provide accurate forecasting

- Ensures rigor and discipline around PMO manager best practices
- Participates in PMO related initiatives as needed
- Communicates, supports, and ensures adoption of PMO and corporate initiatives
- Manages and measures goals, standards, and KPI's to ensure teams are meeting all business excellence measurements
- Maintains appropriate cost center assignment
