Zusammenfassung

DOUGLAS Group sucht eine erfahrene Payroll-Expertin bzw. einen Payroll-Experten zur fachlichen Leitung und Weiterentwicklung der Gehaltsabrechnungsprozesse in Deutschland sowie Unterstützung für AT/CH.

Sie arbeiten eng mit dem externen Payroll-Dienstleister zusammen und stellen pünktliche, qualitativ hochwertige Abrechnungen sicher. Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören die Überwachung von Abrechnungsprozessen, Audits sowie die kontinuierliche Optimierung im Transformationskontext.

Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung, ideal in einem internationalen Unternehmen.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der deutschen Lohnsteuer, Sozialversicherung und Gehaltsabrechnung; Kenntnisse in AT/CH vorteilhaft.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit externen Payroll-Dienstleistern und Audits.
• Verständnis von payroll-bezogenen Prozessen, Kontrollen sowie Compliance- und Audit-Anforderungen.

Aufgaben

• Verantwortung f?r die fachliche Leitung und Weiterentwicklung der Gehaltsabrechnungsprozesse in Deutschland sowie Unterstützung von AT/CH.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit externem Payroll-Dienstleister und Sicherstellung pünktlicher, hochwertiger Abrechnungen.
• Kontrolle, Überwachung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung der payroll-bezogenen Prozesse, Kontrollen und Schnittstellen.
• Analyse, Bewertung und Behebung komplexer payroll-bezogener Probleme sowie Eskalationsmanagement.
• Beitrag zur laufenden Payroll-Transformation und Stabilisierung von Prozessen im Zielbetriebsmodell.
• Verantwortung f?r Qualität und Konsistenz von payroll-relevanten Stammdaten und Transaktionen.
• Management von Lohnsteuer, Sozialversicherung und Pensionsversicherungs-Audits in Zusammenarbeit mit Provider und internen Tax/Finance/HR-Teams.
• Unterst�tzung interner und externer Audits sowie Umsetzung von Compliance- und Kontrollanforderungen.
• Mitwirkung an Digitalisierung, Automatisierung und Optimierungsinitiativen im Payroll/HR-Umfeld.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdern aus HR, Finance, Tax, Legal und IT.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• Ownership of the professional management and continuous development of payroll processes in Germany, as well as supporting Austria and Switzerland
• Close collaboration with our external payroll provider and ensuring high-quality, on-time payroll processing
• Management, monitoring, and continuous improvement of payroll-related processes, controls, and interfaces
• Analysis, assessment, and resolution of complex payroll-related issues, as well as escalation management toward internal and external stakeholders
• Contribution to the ongoing payroll transformation, including stabilizing and optimizing processes in the target operating model
• Ownership of the quality and consistency of payroll-relevant master and transactional data
• Management of wage tax, social security, and pension insurance audits in close collaboration with the payroll provider and the internal Tax, Finance, and HR teams
• Support for internal and external audits, as well as implementation of compliance and control requirements
• Participation in digitalization, automation, and optimization initiatives within the payroll and HR environment
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT

Alongside these competencies, we’re looking for the following skills:

• Several years of professional experience in payroll, ideally within an international corporate environment
• Strong expertise in German wage tax, social security, and payroll matters; knowledge of Austria and/or Switzerland is an advantage
• Experience working with and managing external payroll service providers
• Understanding of payroll-related processes, controls, and compliance and audit requirements
• Experience in transformation, optimization, or digitalization projects is desirable
• Confident handling of SAP HCM and/or SAP SuccessFactors; additional HR or payroll system knowledge
• Very good German and good English language skills
