Overview

The Senior Manager Patient Recruitment role will serve as the critical link between patients, advocacy groups, and internal clinical teams to ensure that the patient voice is integrated throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient advisory boards, focus groups, and collaborations with patient organizations to gather input on trial burden, visit schedule, meaningful endpoints and trial communication messaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global and regional patient advocacy groups and individual patient representatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patient organizations related to clinical trial education and collaboration.
  • Support S&PE team to develop patient-facing materials and tools to support informed consent process.
  • Work closely with clinical trials teams to align on timelines, milestones, and deliverables for patient advocacy engagement activities
  • Develop metrics for measuring patient advocacy engagements on the patient experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in life sciences, public health, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in patient advocacy, or related functions in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Proven track record of engaging with global patient organizations and integrating patient insights into drug development.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical development processes and GCP guidelines.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
