Job Description:

We are looking for experts who would like to join a newly formed, growing Organizational Development team that is part of the global People & Organizational Development function in Corporate HR. We advise and support ZEISS in building critical organizational capabilities to achieve its ambitious targets.

In this role, you will:

  • Be our expert in Organizational Diagnosis & Design, enabling business leaders and HR colleagues to define and implement changes to organizational structures, including roles, governance, and decision-making processes across different functional areas.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop concepts, frameworks, and guidelines for Organizational Development, focusing on Diagnosis & Design for ZEISS.
  • Define and implement organizational development interventions to support ZEISS's strategy and transformation goals.
  • Drive a standardized approach to building organizational capabilities by providing methodologies and tools, advising on their application.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Assess change needs and evaluate structural changes in collaboration with HR and business leaders to recommend implementation approaches.
  • Serve as an advisor for organizational development projects, such as defining Target Operating Models and redesigning processes.
  • Lead projects to implement organizational changes, involving stakeholders and ensuring Change Management support.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Organizational Development function by building a comprehensive portfolio and ecosystem.
  • Coach and mentor team members on organizational analysis and design.
  • Collaborate closely with Transformation Consulting and other HR colleagues.
  • Promote a Community of Practice, enabling the use of tools and methodologies, and coaching colleagues across ZEISS.

Your profile:

  • Master's degree and relevant qualifications in behavioral sciences, psychology, leadership development, HR, or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in Organizational Development, preferably with international exposure.
  • Consulting experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and addressing complex organizational challenges and designing fit-for-purpose interventions.
  • Experience in creating and implementing global, business-oriented concepts.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with organizational changes such as growth re-organizations or post-merger integrations.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Strong business understanding and partnership-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with a results-driven, pragmatic attitude.
  • Business fluency in English, both written and spoken.
