Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain overall logistics strategy involving multiple stakeholders across the business
- Select, negotiate, and contract with qualified 3PL partners
- Ensure that the warehouse 3PL meets the AUTODOC Performance and Operational expectations
- Ensure best practice implementation on end-to-end operations - inbounding, inventory management, fulfillment, transport, claims, and returns
- Act as the main interface with AUTODOC stakeholders, e.g. Revenue Management, Private Brand, Controlling, and SCM peers, assessing their requirements towards the 3PL.
- Ensure that customer orders are appropriately prioritized and fulfilled on time and in full on a daily basis
- Identify improvement activities and monitor their implementation
- Conduct weekly / monthly business reviews related to cost and operational performance.
- Work with Supply Chain and Category Management teams to re-adjust operating model whenever needed and constantly adapt the inventory profile
- Act as the interface between AUTODOC and the 3PL, also representing the interests of 3PL towards our stakeholders
- Drive strategic reviews and analysis with 3PL to understand capacity & financial opportunities and risks
- Prepare and manage price and contract negotiations
- Define and own standards and rules for (internal) QA at 3PL locations
- Partner with our Customer Experience team to understand current and future customer demand and proactively develop own concepts to improve our value proposition.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years in supply chain and management of Third Party Logistic Services
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Technology, Operations, or similar
- Experience in selecting and performance managing 3rd party logistics providers
- Experience and proven track record in logistics cost optimization initiatives
- Strong management experience, analytical skills, process management, TPM, Lean or Six Sigma experiences preferred
- Experience managing remote teams
- Business fluency in English, any additional language is beneficial
