AUTODOC is seeking a Procurement and Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) to lead the indirect procurement function across Europe. You will report to the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax and manage a cross-European team of seven, shaping strategy and driving digital procurement initiatives.

Key priorities include SAP Ariba rollout, ABC Vendor Strategy, and negotiations to optimize IT and Logistics spend. You will partner with internal stakeholders to align with financial goals and implement modern,

Job Description

As Europe’s leading online platform for the automotive aftermarket, AUTODOC continues to scale rapidly across the continent. To support this rapid expansion and financial maturity, we are scaling our internal infrastructure, digital workflows and vendor ecosystem to align with our long-term business goals.

As such, we are hiring for a Procurement and Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) to lead the strategic and operational direction of our Indirect Procurement Team.

In this role, you report directly to the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax while managing and developing a dedicated, cross-European team of seven colleagues. You act as a trusted business partner across internal departments, driving key financial and procurement initiatives. Your primary efforts focus on leading the multi-year SAP Ariba rollout, implementing a robust ABC Vendor Strategy to establish preferred suppliers, and executing high-impact contract negotiations. With a targeted focus on optimizing spend within the IT and Logistics sectors, you identify digital workflow improvements to elevate our overall procurement efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader looking to shape procurement strategies at a high-growth e-commerce scale-up. You will have full ownership of a vital business area, direct access to executive leadership, and the platform to implement modern, digital-first processes that directly impact AUTODOC’s future success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Disciplinary and professional leadership of a 7-person indirect procurement team, fostering their continuous development and ensuring high performance.
• SAP Ariba Roll-Out: Leading the strategic planning and execution of the further SAP Ariba roll-out across the organization over the coming years.
• Vendor Development: Advancing and implementing an effective ABC Vendor Strategy, including the identification, onboarding, and management of Preferred Suppliers.
• Negotiations & Spend Management: Driving measurable improvements in contract negotiations and spend management, with a specific focus on the IT and Logistics categories.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Working closely with internal departments and acting as a trusted business partner, ensuring alignment with the overarching financial goals set by the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax.
• Process Improvement: Identifying optimization potential and implementing more efficient, digital workflows within the purchasing and procurement area.

Qualifications

Personal Skills:

• Must have: Excellent communication skills in English, Polish and German (fluent both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and negotiation skills.
• High level of self-responsibility, proactive problem-solving capabilities, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to effectively manage change and drive digitalization.

Managerial Focus and Reporting:

• Disciplinary leadership and development of 7 employees.
• Direct reporting line to the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax.
