About the Role

This role supports the shaping of Magna Electronics industrialization strategy and will coordinate the operational improvement activities of factory operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement benchmarking of group manufacturing sites for production launches and ongoing performance.
  • Oversee and drive operational performance metrics for all Electronics sites (OEE, labor efficiency, LMPU, etc.).
  • Run optimization projects in plants to improve operational performance (reduce WIP, labor, layouts, logistics flows, etc.).
  • Provide guidance and expertise to factory operations on areas such as standard work, OEE/OEU/TEEP measurement, and factory layout optimization.
  • Identify and mentor local colleagues for autonomous improvements in the future.
  • Provide regular reporting of site and group performance KPIs to senior management at division and group levels.

Who we are looking for

  • Completed university degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
  • Detailed knowledge of electronics manufacturing techniques.
  • With extensive leadership experience, coupled with exceptional communication (proficient in business English) and problem-solving abilities, the capacity to work independently and take initiative further enhances the profile.
  • Profound experience in running production line improvement projects across multiple sites.
  • Able to lead, coach, and motivate cross-functional teams, including matrixed resources.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the field of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
  • Working experience in 4.0 Industry.
  • Good knowledge of the German language.
