Twinlake Advisory, a specialist IT-driven M&A and transformation consultancy, is seeking a (Senior) Manager based in Munich. You will lead complex IT M&A, carve-outs, and transformation programs from strategy to execution, while guiding interdisciplinary teams and managing key client relationships.

In this role you will own project portfolios, drive governance, and contribute to business development. A hybrid work model with on-site project presence is offered, along with strong learning culture

Qualifikationen

• Extensive consulting/IT project experience in M&A or transformation environments

Your role

As a (Senior) Manager, you will take responsibility for complex IT M&A and transformation projects — from strategic structuring through to execution at the client.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Leading key IT M&A, carve-out, integration, and transformation projects or major program streams end-to-end
• Structuring and steering IT due diligence analyses, including deriving robust decision-making foundations for management, investors, and clients
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams, driving quality, execution excellence, and client success
• Taking ownership of selected key accounts and contributing to business development — from strategic positioning and portfolio expansion to identifying and realizing sales opportunities

A core part of your role is independent project and program management. You will lead multiple projects or large workstreams in parallel and take responsibility for results, teams, client relationships, and financial performance, including:

• Setting up and managing governance structures, project plans, staffing, budgets, and resources
• Preparing and leading steering committees, management updates, decision forums, and C-level workshops
• Actively managing progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and escalations, translating them into clear next steps
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across management, IT, business functions, and external partners

You will also mentor team members, share knowledge, support their development, and contribute ideas to further strengthen Twinlake, our client relationships, and our consulting approach.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for colleagues based in Munich who can independently lead complex projects, actively shape client relationships, and guide and develop teams.

Typical qualifications include:

• A completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field alternatively, vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist) with relevant additional qualifications such as project management
• Extensive hands-on experience in consulting, IT projects, project management, or M&A/transformation environments; for Senior Manager roles ideally with strong experience in project leadership, client management, and business development
• Proven experience in leading multiple projects, programs, or workstreams and managing interdisciplinary teams
• Strong expertise in IT transformations, digitalization, corporate development, and/or M&A topics, ideally including IT due diligence, carve-outs, or post-merger integrations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics in a management-ready format
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of initiative, and the ability to drive topics beyond individual projects

Experience in business development, proposal work, pitches, or expanding existing client relationships
