Your role includes leading workstreams, managing carve-outs and integrations, and coordinating with management, IT, business units, and external providers. A strong analytic mindset and fluency in German and English are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Typical qualifications include a completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field.
• Several years of practical experience in consulting, IT projects, project management, or M&A/transformation environments.
• For Senior Consultant profiles, ideally initial experience leading sub-projects or workstreams.
• Very good German and English skills.

Your role

As a (Senior) Consultant, you will take on independent responsibility in complex transaction and transformation scenarios—from analysis and structuring to implementation at the client.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Independently analyzing IT landscapes in the context of company acquisitions and divestitures, including deriving clear action recommendations
• Conducting and structuring IT due diligence analyses
• (Designing and) managing carve-outs and integrations
• Contributing to and leading workstreams in transformation and IT programs

A key part of your role is also active involvement in project management. You will take responsibility for work packages, workstreams, and—depending on your experience—larger sub-projects, including:

• Setting up and managing project plans and work packages
• Preparing and conducting steering committees, management updates, and workshops
• Tracking project progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions, and translating them into clear next steps
• Coordinating with various stakeholders from management, IT, business units, and external service providers

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, serve as a reliable point of contact for clients within your area of responsibility, and support the development of analysts.

Who We’re Looking For

Typical qualifications include:

• A completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field—or a vocational training as an IT specialist with relevant additional qualifications (e.g., project management)
• Several years of practical experience in consulting, IT projects, project management, or M&A/transformation environments; for Senior Consultant profiles, ideally initial experience leading sub-projects or workstreams
• Interest in IT transformation, digitalization, corporate development, and M&A topics
• A structured, analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex issues into clear recommendations and actionable next steps
• High level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and motivation for continuous professional and personal development
• Very good German and English skills
• Confident use of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Smartsheet is a plus—but not required
