The UK’s Department for Business & Trade (DBT) in Germany is looking for a Senior Manager Industrial Cooperation Defence based at the British Embassy in Berlin to support key commercial opportunities.

Main purpose of job :
Working with the Team Lead, this role will offer a mix of project management, stakeholder management in both public and private sectors, research and analysis of industry trends, and advice to UK companies and other parts of UK Government.
You will lead project management, customer relationship management, and events preparation, facilitating visits and meetings for senior diplomats and Government representatives. You will work with colleagues in the UK Government and also contribute to the wider work of the Embassy.

This is a full time, fixed-term 2 year contract with the possibility of a permanent contract subject to performance and funding. Salary € 67,080.- rising to a maximum of approx. € 75,351.- gross per annum after a qualifying period in addition to performance related pay (salary is not negotiable).
The successful candidate will besubject to professional background check and security clearance.The successful candidate must have pre-existing work authorisation in Germany in order to apply.
