Job summary

MAM Gruppe is seeking a Senior Manager – Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead strategic IAM engagements across major enterprise clients in Germany. The role supports both technical and advisory tracks, with a focus on governance, architecture and transformation programs.

You will work with senior stakeholders including CISOs and IT leadership, mentor IAM consultants and drive growth of the IAM practice. The position offers a hybrid working model from anywhere in Germany.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Identity & Access Management (IAM) to join a growing Cyber Security consulting practice in Germany.

The role can be based anywhere in Germany and is open to candidates coming from either a technical IAM background or a more strategic / advisory IAM background.

The key is having strong IAM knowledge, previous consulting experience and the ability to confidently work with clients.

You will take responsibility for major IAM engagements, advise senior stakeholders and play an important role in the continued growth of the IAM practice.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead complex IAM transformation and consulting projects for major enterprise clients
• Advise clients on IAM strategy, architecture, governance and implementation
• Develop IAM strategies, roadmaps and target operating models
• Work closely with senior stakeholders including CISOs, CIOs and IT/Security leadership
• Lead client workshops and translate business requirements into IAM solutions
• Take ownership of project delivery, teams, budgets and client relationships
• Support organisations with the selection and implementation of IAM technologies
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships
• Support proposals, pitches and wider business development activities
• Mentor and develop Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers within the IAM practice

Your Background

We are interested in speaking with experienced IAM professionals who have:

• Strong professional experience within Identity & Access Management
• Previous experience working within a consulting environment
• Experience leading IAM projects, programmes or client engagements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing or developing teams
• The ability to operate confidently with senior client stakeholders
• Conversational German and strong English

Your IAM background can be either technical or strategic.

Relevant experience could include areas such as:

IAM Strategy & Governance | IAM Architecture | Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) | Access Management | Identity Lifecycle Management | Authentication & SSO | Zero Trust | Cloud Identity | PAM | IAM Transformation

Experience with platforms such as SailPoint, One Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk or similar technologies would be beneficial, but specific technology experience is not mandatory.
