Job summary

Barclay Simpson is supporting a leading Financial Services employer in Frankfurt seeking a Senior IAM / PAM Manager to own IAM/PAM governance, operating models and controls across our client’s IT landscape.

You will collaborate with application teams and vendors to embed IAM/PAM controls, manage SoD requirements, and develop authorization concepts, while ensuring compliance with DORA, MaRisk, BAIT and German regulations. Fluent German and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong IAM and PAM governance experience in financial services.
• Experience in first or second line of defence environments.
• Good knowledge of DORA, MaRisk, BAIT and German regulation.
• Hands-on with IAM tooling such as SailPoint, Saviynt or CyberArk.
• Fluent German and English language skills.

Job description

We are supporting an established Financial Services company looking to hire a Senior IAM / PAM Manager into its IT Governance function. The role will take ownership of IAM/PAM governance, operating models and controls, ensuring application access is managed in line with regulatory and information security requirements.

You will be responsible for developing and continuously improving the IAM/PAM operating model and associated governance controls. This will include developing authorisation concepts, managing Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements and supporting business and technology teams with application access. You will also work closely with application teams and external vendors to ensure appropriate IAM/PAM controls are embedded across new and existing applications.

The successful candidate will have strong IAM/PAM experience within Financial Services, ideally gained within the 1st or 2nd Line of Defence, alongside a good understanding of DORA, MaRisk, BAIT and German financial regulation. Experience with technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt or CyberArk is highly desirable, combined with a solid understanding of information security, cloud and on-premise environments, APIs and security controls. Fluent German and English are essential.
