The Senior Manager, Human Resources m / f / d will lead the Human Resources at the Leica Biosystems site in Nussloch, Germany, and will work on-site. This role will collaborate with the site’s leadership to advance talent strategies and cultural excellence.
This role will strengthen collaboration between associates, managers, and leadership by providing comprehensive guidance on organizational design, training and development, performance management, and labor law compliance.

In this role, you will have the importunity to :
Enhance Organizational Culture : Identify and implement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, improving the structure, systems, and environment within a company to create a more efficient, effective, and positive workplace.
Organizational Effectiveness : Consult and support managers and employees on personnel issues and regularly provide information on HR topics (legal / contractual regulations, HR processes, HR management, company agreements).
Employee Relations and Compliance : Ensure the proper application of company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and labor law, by closely collaborating with the local works council; this includes negotiating policies and agreements to maintain compliance and foster positive labor relations.
Strategic HR planning : Leverage analytics and reportingto drive decision-making. Align HR strategies with overall business goals to drive organizational success.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning : Oversee recruitment processes in close collaboration with the Global Talent Acquisition Team; develop and implement effective strategies to attract top talent, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and the specific needs of the medical device industry.
The essential requirements of the job include :
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, master’s degree in business, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, or related field preferred.
5+ years of HR experience leading in Human Resources and / or business partnerships, ideally in a multinational company
Extensive experience in collaboration with works councils and good knowledge of labor, works constitution, and collective bargaining law
Fluent written and spoken English and German skills
