Job Opportunity: Senior Manager Finance & Accounting (m/w/d)

For our client, a globally operating company in the chemical production sector, we are seeking a Senior Manager Finance & Accounting to join as soon as possible.

1. Responsibilities:
   • Managing the main accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
   • Ensuring proper, tax-compliant, and commercial-law-compliant bookkeeping through active participation in daily operations.
   • Organizing and controlling smooth electronic payment processes.
   • Independent and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and tax law for multiple companies.
   • Developing and monitoring multi-year economic, profit, and liquidity plans, as well as planned balance sheets.
   • Preparing business evaluations, internal reports, and tax filings.
   • Supporting annual audits and operational inspections, communicating with external auditors.
   • Leading inventory, including planning, execution, valuation of inventory assets, and analysis of results.
   • Serving as the central contact person for management, shareholders, auditors, tax consultants, tax authorities, insurance brokers, and external advisors.
2. Qualifications:
   • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Taxation or comparable qualification (e.g., Certified Accountant).
   • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a leadership role.
   • Profound knowledge of commercial and tax law.
   • Proficiency with accounting software Navision and MS Office.
   • Strong numerical understanding, analytical thinking, and a structured, solution-oriented work approach.
   • Self-reliance, sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills.
