Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Governance

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Data Governance Leader to own and scale the enterprise data domain model, policies, and glossary. You will drive adoption of data catalog tools, coordinate cross-domain remediation, and oversee audits across SOC 2, GDPR/CCPA, and internal controls.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Analytics to build scalable governance programs, leveraging Snowflake, dbt, and catalog platforms to deliver measurable improvements in data quality

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise analytics within a high-growth, modern tech environment.
• Proven experience building or scaling enterprise data governance programs from design through company-wide adoption.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Analytics.
• Comfortable navigating environments powered by Snowflake, dbt, and modern Cloud Data Warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with modern data catalog/metadata platforms (e.g., DataHub, Alation, Atlan).
• Able to write SQL queries to inspect data, run quality analysis, and build governance tracking reports.
• Deep understanding of frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK, as well as data quality and observability concepts.
• Exceptional ability to lead working sessions, drive consensus, and align disparate business and engineering teams around unified data standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex technical/data concepts into executive summaries and operational docs.
