The Development department is responsible for the further development of the group, including the acquisition of new locations and properties, as well as the expansion of the product range.

  • Independently lead acquisition and negotiation processes for hotel projects in the DACH, Benelux regions, from first contact to signed deal.
  • Analyze potential sites, develop feasibility studies, and shape tailor-made project strategies.
  • Negotiate term sheets and contracts with property owners, investors, and developers.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across all project phases, from design and technical planning to commercial evaluation.
  • Continuously develop our internal toolbox (contract templates, cost benchmarks, planning standards, etc.).
  • Represent Ruby at industry events, drive PR opportunities, and manage key accounts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support strategic decision-making through well-structured reports, presentations, and documentation.

  • At least 3 years of experience in hotel development, ideally on the operator side.
  • A strong track record of independently closing deals and managing multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Knowledge of the hotel and real estate market, with a valuable network if possible.
  • Fluent communication in English and German.
  • A hands-on mentality, love for taking ownership, and ability to navigate complex situations with structure and confidence.
