Job description

At Quantum Systems, we develop advanced autonomous systems for defense and security across multiple domains, combining unmanned platforms with integrated software and AI. As Senior Manager Compliance Governance & Regulatory Affairs, you will play a key role in building and strengthening Quantum Systems’ Group Ethics & Compliance program. You will take end-to-end functional ownership for the Group Compliance Management System, with a focus on policy governance, compliance risk assessment, regulatory change management and implementation, compliance monitoring and reporting, data protection coordination, and governance oversight of selected regulatory compliance areas such as trade compliance. This is a senior individual-contributor role with clear functional ownership and no direct people-management responsibility at present. You will independently develop, implement and continuously improve the compliance programs, frameworks and processes within your area of responsibility, translating regulatory requirements into practical, risk-based and scalable compliance structures. Working closely with relevant corporate functions and subject-matter owners, you will help embed effective compliance into how our fast-growing international business operates and scales.

What is your Day to Day Mission:
  • Own and continuously enhance the Group Compliance Management System, including compliance governance, policy governance, standards, responsibilities and supporting processes.
  • Lead compliance risk assessments and regulatory change management and implementation, assessing regulatory developments and translating relevant requirements into clear responsibilities, implementation plans and controls.
  • Own compliance monitoring and reporting, establishing risk-based monitoring activities, compliance KPIs and management reporting, and tracking identified issues and remediation.
  • Coordinate data protection across the Group, working with relevant stakeholders and the data protection Officer to support effective governance and implementation of privacy requirements.
  • Provide governance oversight of selected regulatory compliance areas, including trade compliance, establishing appropriate responsibilities, oversight, escalation and management transparency.
  • Advise management and support regulatory and assurance readiness, providing guidance on compliance risks and priorities and coordinating regulatory assessments, audits and related remediation.
What you bring to the team:
  • Relevant experience in compliance governance, regulatory compliance or compliance program management, ideally in an international and highly regulated environment.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification, with proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic governance, processes and controls.
  • Solid experience in compliance management systems, including risk assessments, policy governance, monitoring, controls, regulatory change and management reporting.
  • A digital mindset and affinity for technology, with the ability to effectively use AI, data and modern compliance tools to improve processes, monitoring and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder skills, with the ability to independently drive complex cross-functional initiatives and advise senior management.
  • A pragmatic, hands‑on and ownership-driven mindset; experience in defence, aerospace, government contracting or another highly regulated industry is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent English required; German is a strong advantage.
Why Quantum-Systems:
  • We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with a customer‑centric focus.
  • We are industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary.
  • We push limits, think outside‑the‑box and strive for technological excellence to shape the future of aerial data.
