The Clutches & Brakes Division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Segment is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for: Marine / Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for sales of C&B products into the target market, directly and/or through RRX Commercial Sales organization. This includes cross-selling from applicable group plants to end users, distributors, contractors, and market-specific OEMs (globally and locally).
  • Collaborate with all designated key C&B personnel to ensure coordination of overall market strategy, including Brand, Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, and Design.
  • Secure customer specifications and preferences for Regal Rexnord's full Clutches & Brakes portfolio in the target market.
  • Drive profitable share gains at key accounts, segments (steel, aluminum, metal processing), regions (e.g., NA), and with specific portions of the Rexnord portfolio.
  • Coordinate and support share gain activities at top global strategic accounts. Identify, prospect, and support SAE / AE activities to grow share at new strategic accounts.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to develop standard operating procedures in Salesforce for documenting and tracking share growth activities.
  • Manage and grow the top account opportunity funnel by leveraging new/differentiated products and past successes into similar account locations.
  • Assist SAE's / AE's in monitoring, developing, implementing, and communicating strategic account initiatives to ensure alignment of the End User offering (product, placement, promotion, and pricing) and functions (Marketing, NPD, sales, and operations).
  • Develop and support strategic relationships with key decision-makers at high-growth / complex strategic End Users.
  • Partner with RRX field service team to optimize capacity and leverage offerings to increase business and product sales.
  • Act as Regal Rexnord's solution expert for Clutches & Brakes strategic accounts, leading value propositions, technical product presentations, supporting customer visits and plant tours, webinars, and specification influence activities. Become a trusted advisor for RRX Clutches & Brakes solutions at the end customer.
  • Develop customer value propositions for Clutches & Brakes products using a value-based methodology. Deploy these into customer-facing content (web pages, media, events) and sales enablement tools (training, collateral).
  • Provide technical support for products to SAE's / AE's, CAMs, and channel partners.
  • Capture Voice-of-Customer by identifying market problems through customer engagement and observation. Articulate market needs and champion ideas that address customer problems as part of the NPD process.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education/experience.
  • Technical aptitude with an understanding of Rexnord's solutions.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40-60%.
  • Customer-focused with high expectations and a commitment to deliver.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to overcome objections.
  • Ability to find win-win solutions for business and customer.
