The Position
For our German business analytics team we are currently hiring a (Senior) Manager Business Analytics. The position is office based in Martinsried, Munich and will report to the Director Business Analytics & Insights. The Business Analytics team is part of the Commercial Operations function.

Essential Functions:

1. Designs and runs primary and secondary market research projects with decisive and actionable results
2. Aligns cross functionally to address key business questions in primary and secondary research
3. Synthesizes insights across different datasets for a holistic view of the business thus being able to provide actionable recommendations to the commercial stakeholders
4. Acts as a strategic advisor to the commercial stakeholders by staying abreast of all relevant developments and connecting those with market research and other data sets
5. Creates regular strategic forecasts on overall TA market and products and supports definition of consistent and compelling story
6. Supports definition of relevant KPIs and dashboard reports, establishes robust data sources and oversees analytics for senior management
7. Presents recommendations and findings to various stakeholders within the Commercial organization
8. Interacts with internal stakeholders ranging from executives to Commercial management to field sales team
9. Applies strategic thinking and communicates highly complex analytical processes in a clear and concise manner
10. Facilitates ongoing exchange with SFE reflecting commercial strategy and market insights affecting incentive plan, resource optimization or segmentation/targeting

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Essential

1. Degree in business administration, economics, natural sciences or related fields
2. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
3. Prior experience in sales/marketing analysis, statistical analysis, and forecasting
4. In-depth knowledge of relevant software systems (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
5. Ability to assume full responsibility for accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of deliverables completed through own efforts
6. Must be able to effectively communicate analytical information to non-technical members of senior management
7. Fluent in English and German

Desirable

1. In-depth knowledge of global Sales and Marketing organizations and pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Insight Health etc.) is desired
