You’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of our Magento 2 platform, ensuring seamless integrations with ERP systems (Odoo), digital tools, and cloud-hosted infrastructure. As the technical architect and team lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining the future of our technology stack and delivering best-in-class eCommerce experiences.

So, what can you expect to work on?

1. Serve as the lead developer and primary architect for our Magento 2 eCommerce platform.
2. Develop new features and optimize existing functionalities for scalability, security, and high performance.
3. Build robust integrations between Magento 2, ERP systems (e.g., Odoo), and other digital platforms using PHP (Symfony or similar frameworks).
4. Utilize caching technologies (Redis, Varnish) and develop high-performance APIs (REST & GraphQL) to enhance speed and reliability.

Technical Leadership & Team Management

1. Lead a hybrid development team (3-5 engineers) and coordinate closely with QA professionals.
2. Mentor and guide team members in best coding practices, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
3. Drive architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with modern, cloud-based infrastructure strategies.
4. Partner with the Product Manager, internal teams, and external agencies to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
5. Conceptualize, design, and implement innovative eCommerce features that enhance customer experience.
6. Monitor platform performance, security, and reliability, ensuring continuous improvement.

Integration & Scalability

1. Ensure seamless integration of Magento 2 with other systems, including ERP, CRM, and third-party tools.
2. Work with cutting-edge cloud-hosted infrastructures to maintain a future-proof tech stack.
3. Utilize modern DevOps and CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment.

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development for large-scale eCommerce applications.
2. Deep expertise in Magento 2—you know it inside out!
3. Strong proficiency in Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks like Laravel, Zend, CakePHP).
