Jobbeschreibung

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Logistician to join our vehicle sustainment team in Waldmohr, Germany. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

*Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Provide leadership and management for all assigned logisticians and supply clerks.
2. Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of a firm or organization.
3. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources (packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items, and equipment).
4. Record, maintain, and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
5. Demonstrate the ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision or guidance.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Selected candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. 3+ years of qualified logistical experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 7+ years of qualified logistical experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) 9+ years of qualified logistical experience.
3. Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.
4. Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment.
5. Experience in operating material and handling equipment.
6. High School Diploma or GED.
7. Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
8. Must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
2. Knowledge of Federal shipping and logistic regulations.
3. Willingness to accept temporary US or OCONUS transfers to other assignments, if needed.
4. Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
2. Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
3. Must be able to work in high noise areas.
4. Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
5. Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
