Netcup is seeking a (Senior) Linux System Engineer to strengthen our Platform Department in Karlsruhe, with remote options. You’ll handle root-cause analysis, complex incident management, and support 3rd-level escalations while shaping development of new products and automations.

We expect strong Linux expertise, scripting (Bash/Python), and good networking know-how, plus German and English communication skills. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Completed IT training or degree or professional experience in comparable positions.
• Advanced knowledge of administering Linux distributions (Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL-based like AlmaLinux/Rocky Linux).
• Very strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of networks and experience with configuration management (Puppet) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Systematic and analytical thinking with the ability to work independently and focus on solutions.
• Ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills.
• Excellent German and good English skills.

• Very strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills
• Good understanding of networks (troubleshooting) as well as solid experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet) and scripting (Bash, Python)
