TÜV SÜD is an international provider of testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services, as well as technical advisory and R&D. We deliver to customers from a range of industries including Renewable & Sustainable Energy, Oil & Gas, Water and Government.
Over the last four years, we have developed significant capability in the hydrogen and CCUS sectors and have more recently started offering a range of services related to sustainability and renewable energy. These four service lines fall under our Green Energy and Sustainability business area. We are now looking to grow our sustainability services team further, focusing on life cycle assessment, product and corporate carbon footprint, and environmental product declarations.
This role involves working within our existing Sustainability Services team in the UK, collaborating with teams across the TÜV SÜD group, to undertake projects related to sustainability, including calculation of corporate and product carbon footprints, verification against international standards, life cycle assessments, energy audits, environmental product declarations, low carbon hydrogen certification, and sustainability audits. The work offers variety and breadth, serving clients from micro-SMEs to large multinationals.
Applicants should have a qualification related to sustainability, with demonstrable experience in conducting life cycle assessments and calculating carbon footprints in real-world settings. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for developing relationships, winning and executing projects, and supporting new business development. There is significant scope for personal learning, development, and growth as the business expands.
The role reports to the Head of Sustainability Services and can be home-based, office-based, or hybrid, with periodic attendance at our East Kilbride and Fareham offices, and travel for client visits and events (total travel time to be specified).
