Take the chance to become a Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate & Transactions Law and grow with us in an international environment. Provide legal support for project finance, joint ventures, M&A transactions, and corporate law matters focused on Offshore Wind projects.

About the role

• Serve as a key legal advisor for transactions related to Offshore Wind projects in the UK and internationally, including project finance, joint ventures, and M&A, as well as corporate matters.
• Advise and support the business in drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
• Collaborate across RWE Offshore Wind's international legal team and other business functions to deliver comprehensive legal support.
• Manage organizational tasks, including process optimization, especially in project finance, asset/share acquisitions, due diligence, JV services, and management, demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
• Advise on day-to-day operational matters, including financing, joint venture operations, and post-acquisition integration.
• Coordinate external legal counsel when necessary.
• Support dispute resolution processes, liaising with external counsel as needed.

Job requirements and experience

• Qualified lawyer with proven legal skills.
• Several years of relevant experience in project finance, joint ventures, M&A, and corporate law within an international law firm or company, preferably in renewables and Offshore Wind.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong commercial, technical, and strategic understanding with analytical skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset for complex legal and business scenarios.
• Customer-focused with strong negotiation skills.
• High engagement, flexibility, and professionalism in time-sensitive environments.
• Enjoy working in an international team and open to occasional travel.
• Excellent proficiency in English.

Advantageous but not essential

• Ability to negotiate in an additional EU language.
