Your contribution :

• Provide expert legal support and advice to the company on various complex legal matters impacting one or more segments of the company's business.
• Develop legal strategies and provide high-level legal advice to senior management.
• Ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Reports to the General Counsel EMEA with critical input from the Chief Legal Officer.
• This position is located in Hanover, Germany.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• A Law degree (University / State examination or equivalent); admission to practice law in Germany.
• 7 years of transactional experience, preferably in the automotive / manufacturing industry or in a reputable law firm or a corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation.
• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the automotive industry.
• Expert contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Team player with a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to build positive relationships with management and other members of the legal team, with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes positively.
• Familiarity working within a matrix environment on behalf of multiple and diverse business functions and organizations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience managing outside counsel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, meet tight deadlines, and make solid judgment calls under pressure.
• Proficiency in data analytics and AI, with the ability to leverage these skills to enhance legal strategies and decision-making.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies relevant to the legal field.
