Qualifikationen

• 7 ans d'expérience dans le domaine juridique, de préférence dans l'industrie automobile.
• Capacité à rédiger et négocier des contrats.
• Connaissances approfondies des lois applicables à l'industrie automobile.

Your contribution:

• Provide expert legal support and advice to the company on various complex legal matters which have a major impact on one or more segments of the company's business.

• Develop legal strategies and provide high-level legal advice to senior management

• Ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Reports to the General Counsel EMEA with critical input from the Chief Legal Officer

• This position is located in Hanover, Germany

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A Law degree (University / State examination or equivalent); admission to practice law in Germany

• 7 years of transactional experience, preferably in the automotive/manufacturing industry or in a reputable law firm or a corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation

• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the automotive industry

• Expert contract drafting and negotiation skills

• Team player with a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to collaborate across departments

• Ability to build positive relationships with management and other members of the legal team, with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes positively

• Familiarity working within a matrix environment on behalf of multiple and diverse business functions and organizations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

• Experience managing outside counsel

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English; additional languages are a plus

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, meet tight deadlines and make solid judgment calls under pressure

• Expertise in corporate law

• Proficiency in data analytics and AI, with the ability to leverage these skills to enhance legal strategies and decision-making

• Experience with AI tools and technologies relevant to the legal field
