The Role :

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal advice and support to our business operations across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Legal Director in Germany, you will work closely with the global legal organization and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and enable the company to achieve its ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and data protection.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the technology, telecommunications, and IT sectors, and ensure the company’s compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide practical and business-oriented legal solutions.
• Manage external counsel relationships and oversee legal budgets as needed.
• Support M&A activities, corporate restructuring, and other strategic projects.

Requirements :

• Law degree and admission to practice law in Germany
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as in-house counsel in an international company, preferably within the technology, telecommunications, or IT sector.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Business acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
