Mission of the Role:

The Senior Counsel Europe will provide legal advice and perform a broad range of legal tasks, supporting the General Counsel EMEA on legal, compliance, and corporate governance matters. This includes reviewing and preparing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing legal risks. This is a new, dynamic, high-profile position suited for a motivated, mature, and proactive professional eager to take on challenging projects.

Key Objectives of this Role:

1. Provide legal advice on contracts, negotiations, and risk mitigation.
2. Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
3. Advise on contract enforcement, disputes, supplier quality, and transitions.
4. Identify legal and business risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
5. Support M&A activities, litigation, and compliance issues.
6. Train teams on legal topics related to purchasing, sales, and marketing.
7. Assist with employment, environmental, health, and safety matters.
8. Support corporate governance activities.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• 10-15 years of relevant legal experience, including contracts, transactions, M&A, litigation, and employment law.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited university; active legal registration required.
• Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
