Responsibilities

• Handle legal and regulatory matters within the company, both in Property Management and Corporate (particularly drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts).
• Provide legal advice to business units on all commercial law matters (especially commercial and corporate law, compliance, data protection, and tenancy law).
• Corporate governance and legal housekeeping.
• Selection, coordination, and monitoring of external legal advisors.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer with both State Examinations successfully completed.
• Willingness to apply for admission as in-house counsel ( Syndikusrechtsanwalt ).
• Several years of professional experience as in-house counsel – ideally in the real estate industry – or in a law firm with a focus on commercial law.
• Sound knowledge of data protection, construction, and real estate law.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory issues and authorities.
• Discretion, integrity, strong commitment, and readiness to take responsibility form part of your professional values.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and solution-oriented – also with complex matters and in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey legal matters confidently – at all levels from team to management board.
• German and English skills at negotiation level – spoken and written.
