The Role

We are seeking a Kotlin Developer with deep iOS experience, or a Senior iOS Developer open to exploring new technologies, to join our team as a core member. You will lead iOS development using Compose Multiplatform and Kotlin Multiplatform, shaping a product that prioritizes real-world security, user sovereignty, and technical excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the GLOK app for iOS using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, ensuring the highest code quality and user experience.
• Integrate and adapt existing logic and UI from our Android app, developed in Kotlin, ensuring seamless cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with the Android team and hardware development team to implement new features.
• Thoroughly test code to ensure stability, especially under edge cases and high-stress scenarios.
• Actively participate in defining best practices and continuous improvement of the project.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in native iOS app development.
• Advanced knowledge of Swift and key iOS frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreLocation).
• Openness and enthusiasm for working with Compose Multiplatform and Kotlin Multiplatform technologies.
• Proven experience integrating encryption and data security technologies.
• Ability to debug and resolve complex technical challenges with elegant, efficient solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented approach.
• Passion for privacy, security, and open-source technologies.
• Based in or available to work within European time zones (±2 hours CET preferred) to ensure smooth collaboration with the core team.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity or curiosity about decentralized protocols like Nostr — experience.
• Experience or knowledge of Graphene OS.
• Previous experience in personal safety or emergency management applications.
