Vaillant GmbH sucht eine erfahrene Software-Entwicklerin bzw. einen erfahrenen Software-Entwickler zur Entwicklung innovativer Lösungen für internationale Produktionsstandorte.

Sie gestalten Architektur, Implementierung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung unserer industriellen Softwarelandschaft. Sie analysieren Anforderungen, entwerfen nachhaltige Strategien, arbeiten eng mit cross-funktionalen Teams zusammen und treiben die Digitalisierung der Produktionsprozesse voran.

Qualifications

• Sie haben ein Hochschulstudium in Informatik, Ingenieurwesen, Elektrotechnik oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich mit Fokus auf Automatisierung oder Produktion erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
• Sie verfügen über mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Entwicklung industrieller Softwarelösungen und können komplexe technische Herausforderungen lösen.
• Sie bringen fundierte Kenntnisse moderner Software-Architekturen, Entwicklungsumgebungen, Datenbanken und Internet-Technologien mit; Sie besitzen Expertenwissen in Java sowie praktische Erfahrung mit Spring, Maven, Git/GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes und Microsoft Azure.
• Idealerweise haben Sie Erfahrungen in Produktion-Umgebungen, MES, Shopfloor-Lösungen oder der Integration industrieller Hardware; Kenntnisse in Industry 4.0 sind von Vorteil.
• Sie arbeiten analytisch, strukturiert und können diverse Stakeholder zusammenbringen, um nachhaltige Lösungen voranzutreiben.
• Sie kommunizieren sicher in Deutsch und Englisch und arbeiten gerne in internationalen Projekten.

Responsibilities

• Sie entwickeln innovative Softwarelösungen für unsere internationalen Produktionsstandorte und gestalten Architektur, Implementierung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung aktiv mit.
• Nach der Analyse von Anforderungen und Prozessen entwerfen Sie nachhaltige Lösungsstrategien und unterstützen deren Umsetzung gemäß Group-Standards.
• Sie arbeiten eng mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zusammen, optimieren bestehende Anwendungen, integrieren zusätzliche Hardware und treiben die Digitalisierung der Produktionsabläufe voran.
• Sie definieren und entwickeln Entwicklungsstandards weiter und stimmen technische Spezifikationen mit externen Partnern ab.
• Sie analysieren komplexe Störungen, identifizieren Ursachen und implementieren nachhaltige Lösungen für einen stabilen Betrieb unserer Anwendungen.
• Sie unterstützen Produktionsstandorte weltweit bei Software-Rollouts, betrieblichem Einsatz, Schulungen und dem Transfer technischer Standards.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will continuously optimize existing applications, integrate additional hardware, and make a significant contribution to the digitalization of manufacturing operations


• You will also be responsible for defining and advancing development standards, as well as aligning technical specifications with external partners to ensure seamless integration into the existing system landscape


• By analyzing complex incidents and system issues, you will identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and ensure the stable and reliable operation of our applications


• In addition, you will support our production sites worldwide during software rollouts, operational use, training activities, and the transfer of technical standards and best practices

What Makes Us Successful Together

• Qualification: You have successfully completed a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on automation or production technology.


• Experience: Several years of professional experience in the development of industrial software solutions enable you to confidently solve complex technical challenges.


• Know-how: You possess in-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, development environments, databases, and internet technologies. You bring expert-level knowledge of Java as well as hands-on experience with Spring, Maven, Git/GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure. In addition, you are familiar with communication protocols such as Modbus, REST, and MQTT, and ideally have expertise in Application Security as well as experience with tools such as OWASP, Grype, or similar solutions.


• Nice to have: Ideally, you have gained experience in production environments, with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), shopfloor solutions, or the integration of industrial hardware. Experience in Industry 4.0 and connected production systems is considered an advantage, as are skills in Python and/or C#.


• Personality: You stand out through strong analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and the ability to successfully bring together diverse stakeholders and drive sustainable solutions.


• Language Skills: You communicate confidently in both German and English and are equally comfortable working in international project and production environment
