We are looking for a passionate Senior Java Developer to join our talented team.

DMIx supports secured real-time collaborative data usage and interaction based on standardized digital colors, raw materials, products, human avatars, and real-time master data, including design and PLM solutions. Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy new Java / Spring Boot based applications, following clean code principles and best practices, while also maintaining the legacy platform.
• Develop PoC’s for customer-requested features.
• Actively participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams, take part in mentoring junior developers, and contribute to the overall software development life-cycle.

Requirements & Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience as a Java developer, preferably in web-based environments.
• Proficiency in Java 8, Java 17+, Spring Boot 2.x, 3.x, RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB), search engines (Lucene-based), and object storage solutions (MINIO).
• Expertise in test automation and experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD, Gitlab, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with C/C++ native integration and JSP frameworks (Wicket) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu / Linux environments.
• Experience with database migrations and handling legacy code.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of software development principles such as design patterns and clean code.
• Fluent in English and German.
