The Role:As a
Senior Java Developer, you’ll join a cross-functional, international engineering team working on open-source platforms and reusable building blocks. You’ll be hands-on with architecture and development, while contributing to design discussions and decisions that shape the future of digital public infrastructure.
Tech environment:Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Maven, CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and security best practices is a plus.
What You’ll Bring:- Strong Java engineering background (ideally 5+ years)
- Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems
- Experience building APIs and backend services from scratch
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Bonus: experience with open-source projects or working in/with public sector or NGOs
