Senior Full-Stack Java Developer – Fintech | Berlin (Hybrid)

Are you a Senior Java Developer with a passion for fintech and full-stack development?

Our client, a leading Berlin-based fintech company, is looking for a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience, strong backend expertise in Spring and Hibernate, and hands-on experience with React on the frontend.

As a trusted recruitment partner, we are supporting their search for top-tier tech talent to join their growing engineering team.

The Role:

You’ll be a key contributor to the design and development of scalable, high-performance financial applications, they have 2 main product lines in the areas of international payments and compliance. This is a full-stack position focused primarily on Java (Spring, Hibernate) on the backend, and React development on the frontend.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java, with deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Experience building REST APIs and working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Solid hands-on experience with React.js
• Familiarity with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in fintech or other regulated industries is a plus
• Fluent English; German is a bonus
