The founders include renowned scientists and experienced entrepreneurs. Our technology leverages laser-induced inertial fusion, aiming to provide a secure and scalable energy future.

What you'll do:

• Hybrid Work: Maintain a regular onsite presence (35 days/week) at our Darmstadt office, with flexibility based on evolving needs.
• IT Projects & Process Improvement: Lead or support initiatives like tool rollouts, system upgrades, security audits, and automation to enhance IT efficiency and user experience.
• Systems Engineering: Design, deploy, and manage a hybrid IT environment including virtual machines, servers, cloud platforms, shared drives, and network infrastructure.
• SaaS Ecosystem Administration: Manage and optimize our SaaS stack including Google Workspace, Atlassian tools, Slack, Zoom, and support external collaboration via Microsoft 365.
• Security & Access Management: Maintain endpoint security, MDM, patching, and access controls to uphold security standards.
• Asset & License Management: Oversee procurement, allocation, and lifecycle management of hardware and software licenses.
• IT Onboarding & Offboarding: Support new hires with equipment setup and training; handle hardware returns and access revocation.
• Audio-Visual Support: Set up and troubleshoot AV systems in conference rooms for smooth meetings.

End-User Support: Provide support across macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, iPadOS, and Android. Resolve hardware/software/connectivity issues and manage support tickets.

Who you are:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, automation, or systems engineering; DevOps exposure is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, with automation and scripting experience.
• Security-minded with knowledge of access controls, device management, patching, and zero-trust principles.
• Strong technical background in SaaS, VM management, server administration, firewalls, and networking.
• Analytical troubleshooting skills with ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Excellent documentation skills, including SOPs and knowledge bases.
