Senior IT Security Engineer / Identity Access Management (f/m/d)

Secure the future of Deutsche Börse Group by building and maintaining a robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework. As a key member of the Security IT Engineering team, you’ll be responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of our IAM solutions. Contribute to a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise will have a direct impact on the security posture of a leading global organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement a scalable and robust IAM solutions
• Manage and maintain the IAM infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Identify area of improvements and propose enhancements to existing environments
• Automate IAM tasks and processes using scripting tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
• Collaborate with other security and IT teams to integrate IAM with existing systems and applications
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IAM processes and configurations
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging threats, and new technologies in the IAM landscape.
• Provide secondary support for the management of other security tools, such as EDR, CNAPP, or DB Security
• Provide occasional on-call support (rotational basis) to address critical IAM issues and ensure business continuity.

Your Profile

• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions
• Solid understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
• Deep understanding of IAM principles, concepts, and best practices.
• Understanding of user repositories such as LDAP / Active Directory.
• Understanding of Linux security concepts, experience in server administration (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss EAP)
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., BASH, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Willingness to expand knowledge beyond IAM area
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions.
• Knowledge of IT security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
