Senior IT Application Manager (f/m/d) Cloud

Your tasks:

“Banking, Commodity Exchanges, Big Data and agile methods just don’t add up.” You are convinced that this is not true, and you want to help us bring all of them together? Then we are happy to welcome you to our Data Technologies Team at ECC.

Your task will be to drive innovation by analyzing our Data Technologies portfolio for potential improvements, deriving and implementing new features. Along the way, you'll ensure compliance with internal and external standards, procedures, and best practices. Your focus area will be Cloud Data Technologies.

Your specific responsibilities & tasks include:

1. Incident-, problem- and change management for the cloud data platform
2. Creation of processes and compliance documentation for new cloud tools and processes
3. First- or Second-Level-Support for different parts of the data platform
4. Implementation of innovative and technical improvements
5. Analysis of data and data flows as well as evaluation of possible errors
6. Creation and testing of data platform requirements and releases
7. Monitoring and review of (data) processes and ensuring the correct and timely availability of data for customers within the scope of service times
8. Ensuring operational stability of product components

Your skills:

1. You either have successfully completed a degree in Information Technology/ -Engineering or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist
2. You can prove know-how and hands-on experience with ITIL Framework/ principles
3. You bring along several years of demonstrable experience with cloud technologies, especially GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Microsoft PowerBI (certifications an advantage)
4. Additionally you have knowledge in working in data operations in general and especially with a data platform
5. You possess routine and familiarity in handling SQL tools as well as in the analysis of data and data flows
6. Your skills in the operation of data warehouse solutions, applications and databases set you apart
7. Experience of agile/scrum-based working is appreciated and abilities in working with Oracle is also an advantage
8. You can communicate excellently in Business English as well as in German on intermediate level
