About the role

As a Senior IT specialist, you will be the go-to expert for a broad range of IT topics, ensuring security, handling IT operations, and aligning IT strategy with business objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise, a hands-on supportive mentality, and the ability to prioritize strategically. This position is key to maintaining regulatory readiness and building long-term digital resilience.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Administer the company's IT systems, including tooling, operating systems, networking, identity and endpoint management, and device lifecycle processes across a hybrid workforce.
2. Manage office video and audio systems, local IT infrastructure, and network setup.
3. Serve as the primary contact for IT issues, working on and continuously improving our IT support.
4. Support the technical backbone of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve our IT landscape.
6. Support the secure operation of cloud-based services (e.g., Microsoft 365 SaaS platforms), including configuration, monitoring, and backups in collaboration with the DevOps team.

Your profile

This is a hybrid role with expected office presence.

1. Experience in System Administration, Networking, Device and Tool Management.
2. Hands-on mentality and self-management skills to handle daily operations and projects.
3. Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
4. Motivated to take on project leadership and make independent decisions.
5. Strong collaboration skills with internal teams (Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, Operations) and external suppliers.
6. Ability to implement a secure-by-default culture, act as a trusted partner for senior management, and enable employees to work effectively.
7. Fluent in English.
8. Strategic skills: Assess IT needs, support tool rollouts, and streamline digital workflows to improve productivity, security, and onboarding/offboarding processes.

• Microsoft 365
• Atlassian
• Windows and MacOS devices
• Monitoring and Patch Management Tools (e.g., NinjaOne, Zabbix)
• Mobile Device Management Tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune)
• Hardware Asset Management (e.g., Jira Assets, Snipe-IT)
• Network Management (Ubiquiti Hardware, HP and Cisco Switches)
