What can you expect from us?

1. Varied tasks in a team where you quickly take on a key role in the entire investment process, identify investment opportunities, conduct negotiations, and optimize internal processes in close cooperation with other departments.
2. Lead deal teams for transactions of onshore wind, PV projects, and battery storage systems (BESS) in Europe from deal sourcing to closing.
3. Responsible for comprehensive due diligence processes with internal experts and external consultants.
4. Financial modeling of wind and solar parks.
5. Conduct commercial and contract negotiations (purchase agreements, general contractor agreements, project development agreements, operational management agreements, full maintenance agreements, etc.).
6. Manage project financings and power purchase agreements (PPAs) during transactions, collaborating with internal teams.
7. Present transactions and investment recommendations to the investment team, senior management, and the supervisory board.
8. As Team Lead Transactions, manage a team of approximately 5-7 investment professionals who independently handle transactions in onshore wind, PV, and BESS as deal captains.
9. Ensure the professional and personal development of your team members and support them in their transactions, ensuring all meet risk-return requirements.
10. Collaborate with other team leaders and investment management to develop the entire investment area and contribute to company goals.

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in business administration or industrial engineering, ideally with additional qualification (MBA or CFA).
• At least 7 years of extensive transaction experience in wind, PV, and BESS sectors.
• Strong network in renewable energies across Europe and eagerness to utilize it for transactions.
• Excellent skills in financial modeling of cash flow-based investments.
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and flexibility.
• Initial leadership experience and ability to manage demanding teams.
• Highly responsible and fully committed.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Advanced knowledge of Italian, Spanish, Danish, or Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
