A leading quantum technology company in Stuttgart seeks a Senior Integrated Device Architect to lead the design and development of next-generation diamond NV based sensor architectures. This role requires extensive experience in device architecture and ASIC/SoC design, alongside a strong background in semiconductor design flows. Candidates will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and guidance will be provided to junior engineers. This position offers a dynamic start-up atmosphere with opportunities to innovate.

Central to our core offering is the integrated diamond quantum chip, which leverages the unique properties of NV centers in diamonds to be used for both quantum sensing and quantum computing applications, from data centres through to on-premises and edge applications such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, hospitals and aerospace.

This particular role could be located in Germany or Australia, ideally aligned to either our Stuttgart Lab or Melbourne Lab.
The Mission
As a Senior Integrated Device Architect, you will lead the definition, design, and development of next-generation of diamond NV based Sensor architectures across multiple technology domains, including analogue/mixed-signal, RF, photonic ICs. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define system-level specifications, explore innovative topologies, and translate product requirements into scalable solutions for diamond NV based quantum sensing products in different applications.
