What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will join the EMEA & APAC Media & Analytics Solutions Delivery team, supporting FMCG manufacturers and retailers with their growth plans by analyzing in-store sales and marketing activity, and identifying opportunities for performance improvement. Recommendations focus on assortment, media, price, and promotional strategies, utilizing machine analytics based on EPOS data.

As a Media & Analytics Insights Consultant, you will work with a team of consultants across Germany and EMEA to support contracted and ad hoc services for Circana’s clients. Your role involves managing the delivery of projects from sign-off to insights delivery, collaborating closely with clients and colleagues in the EMEA & APAC team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Project management and Team leading
  • Lead teams to leverage data and analysis for compelling client recommendations
  • Manage client relationships and data validation processes
  • Coordinate between data scientists, insights analysts, and commercial teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Build project scope, perform quality checks, track timelines, and challenge results
  • Ensure project setup and results meet client expectations as per the Statement of Work (SoW)

Interpret client business questions into project specifications, understand objectives, and deliver analytics solutions.

  • Prepare impactful presentations (PowerPoint, Excel, visualization platforms) and present findings to clients, providing feedback to analysts and data scientists.

Insights and Consulting

  • Align with commercial teams to develop insights and client presentations based on machine learning data analysis
  • Lead client workshops, interpret results, and communicate effectively
  • Identify industry trends, generate new ideas, and deliver actionable insights to support client growth
  • Build trust and act as a trusted advisor and delivery partner

Requirements

  • Interest or understanding of marketing strategy and FMCG market trends
  • Relevant experience in data analysis, insight delivery, or data management; experience with marketing mix insights is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of media channels and advertising principles
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office; statistical background not required
  • Experience with big-data platforms like Circana Market Advantage is a plus
  • Knowledge of analytical principles such as A/B testing, multi-touch attribution, and marketing mix modeling
  • Ability to interpret data and craft compelling narratives
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to simplify complex data
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders
