Job Description

Providing the most advanced IT infrastructure solutions based on industry standards and using the latest tools and methods. Using proof-of-concept approaches to enthuse participants with your solution ideas. Troubleshooting and performance optimization of RedHat-based systems to ensure high availability and performance. Implementing and managing security measures specifically for RedHat Linux environments. Passion for technology and the DevOps idea to drive automation within a development team and contribute to the vision of “Continuous Everything”. Being a member of an agile SCRUM team that supports products from requirements through development to integration into production.

Qualifications

• Completed studies (or equivalent training) with a technical background.
• Experience in managing experts and projects, including “Statement of Work” negotiations, project initiation, customer management, project execution, and implementation.
• Consulting experience with the ability to propose and implement innovative technical solutions.
• Extensive technical experience in IT infrastructure, especially in system integration with Linux distributions (such as RedHat, SuSE Linux) and in the RedHat ecosystem (including RedHat Satellite, IDM).
• Knowledge of IaC Configuration Management (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Chef, Terraform).
• Background in Linux/Unix administration and familiarity with CI/CD toolchains like Jenkins, Maven, ANT, GIT, Nexus.
• Experience with cloud landscapes based on AWS or AZURE.
• Experience with container technology, system deployment, and scripting for infrastructure configuration.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and frameworks (NewRelic, ELK, Splunk, Graylog).
• Familiarity with software development and test automation frameworks.
• Open-minded, customer-oriented, and capable of working in an international environment.
• Result-oriented problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to develop technical documentation.
• Proficiency in German and English communication.
• Certifications such as RHCE or RHCA are assets but not mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of RedHat OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform is an asset.
