In this strategic yet hands on role, you will act as a primary consultant for leadership and staff, driving the evolution of human resources practices within a dynamic corporate environment. You will manage a specific business unit while collaborating closely with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure high quality service delivery and organizational growth.
Provide end to end HR support for a designated division at the local site and offer occasional assistance to other locations.
Advise management on both daily operational matters and long term strategic personnel topics.
Translate business requirements into effective HR processes and strategies by maintaining a deep understanding of organizational goals.
Partner with leadership on resource planning, headcount management, and organizational design.
Work alongside the talent acquisition team to facilitate effective hiring, candidate selection, and onboarding.
Implement and refine HR standards, guidelines, and global corporate policies locally.
Lead or participate in local and cross site HR projects and change management initiatives.
Utilize digital HR tools and systems to analyze metrics and provide data driven insights.
Foster a constructive relationship with the works council and participate in local negotiations.
Manage performance cycles and coach managers on talent development, succession planning, and leadership culture.
A university degree in business, law, social sciences, or a related field with a focus on human resources.
At least eight years of experience in a generalist HR function, preferably within an international matrix organization.
Expert knowledge of German labor law and the Works Constitution Act, including a proven track record of working effectively with employee representatives.
Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and process driven approach to work.
Demonstrated experience in managing organizational change and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication and consulting skills, characterized by initiative and a professional presence.
High level of accountability, assertiveness, and a proactive hands on mentality.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with modern HR Information Systems.
Fluency in both German and English at a professional business level is essential.
